Moldova - One convenient Main road

Before planning to come here I didn't even know where Moldova is and therefore had no idea what to expect from this country without access to international waters, even it is just 1km away from it :D

April 14 - Walk on the main road

As there are no direct flights to Moldova, I had to fly to Kiev yesterday afternoon and change plane to Chisinau. Sometimes it's a good thing that plane schedules have no delays, cause when that would have happened on the first flight, I could have skipped my trip to Moldova.

My one full day in Chisinau is over and tomorrow morning I will fly back to Kiev, where I will stay until Monday. Somehow I once again got surprised in a positive way about a capital, which was said to be run down and not really worth going to.

The city center is small, basically, just one large main road which is the business district and has its special sights attached to left and right of it. So it's very convenient for sightseeing.

What I totally didn't expect was a McDonalds in such a format. Its a top notch two floor McDonald's with an open-air balcony :)!

I'm glad that the place is not bigger or else I would have ended up consuming all my walking energy for this eastern trip in just one day, and that's a bad thing when looking forward on the schedule and see that huge Ukraine capital Kiev is next on the list :).
